The house is located in a very desirable, upscale area of Belize City, just 2 1/2 miles outside of the City Center, and about 2 1/2 miles from the nearest beach (Kukumba Beach at Old Belize).
There is a large supermarket/pharmacy, a large hardware store, a hotel and restaurants within walking distance. There is a bus stop less than a block away, for the bus which goes into town.
The back yard has a beautiful view of the Belama Canal which empties into the Belize River. You can sometimes catch a glimpse of a crocodile in the canal, and the occasional boat motoring by.
There are also coconut trees in the backyard – feel free to help yourself to some fresh coconut water!
